In Memory Of Nicholas Joseph Dardano, Jr.
Nicholas Dardano of Orlando, FL passed away peacefully at the age of 37 surrounded by family & friends on September 25, 2017. Nick was born in Utica, New York on December 28, 1979 to Catherine Ann Baiamonte and Nicholas Joseph Dardano, Sr. The son of a sailor, he was raised in Virginia Beach, VA however, spent much of his life in Upstate New York, Florida and Rome, Italy.
While attending UCF (University of Central Florida) Nick met and fell in love with Krista Marie Murphy. They were married in New York City in May of 2008 and have two beautiful children Dominic (10) and Ava (5).
Nick spent much of his short life in the communications industry – he was a master at what he did – from private sector sales to corporate sales to internet security to video gaming and if you really knew Nick, you were hopefully fortunate enough to enter into his virtual reality home theater for a global trip!
Movies were his thing – if you hadn’t seen “The Godfather”, Nick would give you a homework assignment to watch it! Other favorites included “A Bronx Tale”, “Goodfellas”, “Raiders of the Lost Ark”, “Scarface” and especially Clint Eastwood’s “Unforgiven” which he displayed for all to witness on his forearm.
His passion was his family!! Long before he joined his crusade against cancer, Nick spent his life making each day better for his family. His mom & dad were an active and important part of his life. Krista was his everything – he cherished her and together they built a strong family.
Nick has many aunts, uncles, cousins, and way too many friends to list who love him and will deeply miss him forever. In everyone’s eyes, Nick has been a great husband, excellent father, dedicated son, passionate cousin, loyal friend, mentor, brother, coach, trusted advisor, partner in crime and all around good guy!!!
Nick had a way of creating a circle of love; thank you, everyone, for being a part of Nick’s forever circle!! Please join us to celebrate Nick’s life this Friday, September 29, 2017 at The Peninsula at Lake Eola, Orlando at 1pm. Please dress casually especially in this heat – Nick would hate that!! Bring your memories and there will a party at Swiggs (50 E. Central Blvd., Orlando) afterwards.
